How do I become a Service Crew Manager?

The Hurdlestone Challenge organisers select these people from your requests and nominations. Unit leaders can nominate suitable candidates with a minimum age of 16, using the ‘Unique spreadsheet’.

If selected, they will be contacted before the event. Candidates must be prepared to organise their teams and take on various duties.

Please think carefully before you nominate a Service Crew member for one of these roles. Individuals may not be known to Committee members and therefore they’re appointed based on your nomination.

What happens if you arrive before your leader?

Service Crew members who arrive before their leader, must have their copy of the top half of the original Hurdlestone consent and health form and you need to bring their original form with you when you register.

Things you will need to know over the weekend.

Please ensure you have a charged mobile phone on your person at all times, so that you
are contactable during the event (which has the app What3Words preinstalled). There will
be charging points on site, but you will also need a portable charger with you.
